Leah Braverman is a multidisciplinary artist, specializing in traditional media, both 2D and 3D. While watercolor and gouache are her favorite mediums, she has also experimented with acrylics, oils and traditionally hand made egg tempera. Her 3D work includes ceramics - both decorative and functional, casting in metal and resin, silversmithing and other metalwork.
Leah ’s inspiration comes primarily from nature, small moments of blooming flowers, fluttering insects and beams of sunlight piercing through tree leaves to reflect on water. Even when creating fantastical or abstract works - nature influences how the finished art ends up looking and feeling. Leah’s goal is to convey joy and serenity, to have someone look at her work and feel better afterward.
